ACORN EXPANDS ITS SACRAMENTO TREE CARE SERVICES

Acorn Arboricultural Services is expanding its Sacramento tree care business to better serve the Capitol region.

For five years Acorn has served South Placer and Sacramento Counties from its base in Roseville. Starting in January 2016, Acorn opened its second location in Depot Park in Southeast Sacramento. The expansion allows Acorn’s staff of certified arborists and tree workers to better serve South Sacramento, Land Park, Elk Grove, Rancho Murieta and communities in El Dorado County.

“Establishing our second location in Depot Park translates into greater affordability for existing and new customers in the southern portion of our service area because travel times are now shorter,” said Jay Bate, founder of Acorn Arboricultural Services. “Bottom line is that our already competitive pricing will be even more competitive.”

With more than 100 years of combined experience in the tree-care industry, Acorn’s expert field and office staff is skilled in helping homeowners, property managers and government agencies ensure that our community’s trees live up to their full potential.

“We believe that an up-to-date and accurate understanding of how trees grow and function in the urban environment is vital to providing quality tree care,” Bate said. “And by caring for the needs of trees we are also enhancing the lives of the people who enjoy them.”

Acorn is a fully licensed, insured and locally owned business. As part of its expert team, Acorn features five arborists certified by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA); two ISA Western Chapter certified tree workers; and one tree safety professional certified by the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA). Acorn’s staff adheres to industry-accepted standards such as not using outdated and harmful practices like topping trees or using climbing spikes while pruning.
